• A Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer)
• macOS 13 or later
• 16 GB of memory or more
• About 4 GB free: the first AI model is about 2.5 GB
• You live in the United States or Canada, and you’re an adult where you live

1. Open the file you downloaded, then drag Mondro into your Applications folder.
2. Open Mondro from Applications.
3. macOS asks if you’re sure you want to open an app from the internet. Click Open. It doesn’t ask again.

Mondro is early and unfinished, and we would rather say so than have you find out. It can break, and it can be confidently wrong, so check anything that matters and keep your own copies of your files. If a friend wants Mondro, share the download page with them, not the file. And if something is confusing, that’s a bug. Tell us with Report a bug in the menu at the bottom left of Mondro, or write to support@mondrosystems.com. We read every message.

To remove Mondro, drag it out of Applications. Then delete the Mondro folder in your home folder, the Mondro folder in Library > Application Support, and the three folders named com.mondrosystems.mondro in Library > Application Support, Library > Caches and Library > WebKit.

Tokens for tool servers are in the macOS Keychain: “Remove and Forget Token” on a tool’s card removes its token, and you can also remove them in Keychain Access, where each is named “Mondro:” followed by the tool’s name.

• To stop the beta report, choose Keep Reports on This Mac or No Thanks on the Network page. The version that comes after this beta sends no report.
• To delete the stored reports for your install: email us your install identifier (it is in every report file). We will delete them within 30 days.
• Changing your answer stops new reports; it does not delete reports we already have. Write to us for that.

Mondro is software that runs on your Mac. It is not a crisis service, and nobody at Mondro reads your chats.
